Stokes Hall Great House – Reminder of our past and future

Stokes Hall Great House in St Thomas is a magnificent example of English settlement in Jamaica. Built by slaves under the control of Luke Stokes in 1680, the house is a fortress-like structure that provides a breathtaking view of lush plantations and the sea.
