Are you being taught the truth?

THE EDITOR, Sir:
Many times we hear people say that in the last days, "babes will be having babes". Do the scriptures really say that? Nowhere in the Scriptures will we find those words.
Further, Nativity scenes depict three wise men visiting baby Jesus in a manger, along with his mother, Mary, and foster father Joseph. However, Matthew 2:1 indicates that NO number was given as to how many wise men visited.
The foregoing are just two examples that show us the need to check the scriptures for ourselves to ensure that we are being taught the truth from God's Word, especially when it comes to even more important matters (Acts17:11; 1 Timothy 2:3,4).
