Beautiful! Mek such man weh a complain go raise him own money.
– @Ryka_don101
I knew this would happen enuh, can’t blame him.

Protect your name and your brand integrity Shaggy! Don’t put it on the line for indisciplined, ungrateful and bad mind people. So many local celebrities don’t bother to use their fame and talent to give back, but here is Shaggy doing so and look at the stress and drama it is causing.

Every year like clockwork.

This is why I know Jamaica will be its own demise. Doh deserve nothing good.
– @chevixter
I think if there is another concert it needs to go to NGOs that are actually on the ground doing the work in spite of the Gov’t. Many of them living hand to mouth on the back of grants.
– @Bertitude
The Government strikes again. We can never have good things. This has been such a great initiative and now I wouldn’t be mad if Shaggy doesn’t continue with it. I hope this is sorted soon because after a certain time the money won’t cover all that it was initially set out to.
– @Sheryayy
We stand with you Shaggy. Don’t let these people make you into someone you are not. Keep doing good.
- Esay Tammy
The concert was January 2018. It’s almost January 2023. You can’t blame COVID-19 for this kind of delay.

This is being handled poorly by the Gov’t and Bustamante [Hospital]. That’s all I have to say.
– Kevin Jackson
Even when you’re trying to help people they cuss you. Do good, but don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Do it in secret, the less that know the better. Hope the $100m goes to what it was intended. It’s a great gesture for our young children.

Transparency, communication and accountability is everything. People choose to see things only from a political perspective.
– Natasha Davidson
Shaggy, walk away and nuh look back when this saga is over. Enough is enough!
– @snatalienelson

Shaggy if you can get the money back partner with Mandeville. We donate the plot a land to have paediatric hospital there. To hell with the red tape for Bustamante Hospital. – @tdotrebel
It’s so hard to care in this country. We tell Jamaicans to support Jamaica and when they put their money, effort, resources and contacts to work to do that, they are punished. Shaggy could sit and enjoy his success; instead he started a foundation to support his country. And now he’s facing this scandal? All for caring. No good deed goes unpunished. – @drsexxyann
