Trinityville residents protest bad roads
Scores of placard-bearing residents in Trinityville, St Thomas are protesting the poor road conditions in their community and its environs.
The irate residents say the road has been in a deplorable state for some time, posing a hazard to motorists and pedestrians.
They claim that many of the motor vehicle collisions along the Seaforth to Trinityville main road were as a result of the potholes in the road.
The residents say they are often late for school and work because of the conditions of the main thoroughfare.
A section of the road which was blocked this morning has since been cleared by the police to facilitate single-lane traffic.
But the residents say they will continue demonstrating until the community gets the attention of the authorities.
