Three hundred and sixty Jamaicans are to be provided with free cataract surgeries from the Mandeville Regional Hospital in partnership with Florida-based Mind, Body and Soul Ministries.

The Southern Regional Health Authority says the surgeries will be performed between April 20 and 23, noting that the mission will help to reduce the waiting list at the hospital's Ophthalmology Department.

The Authority says 250 surgeries were performed last year noting that this is the fourth time The Cataract Camp is being held.
