According to the police, later that day, about 2:25 p.m. Whyte reportedly went to Mansfield Avenue in Spanish Town in the parish and got into another dispute with a woman.

He allegedly used a knife to stab her before setting the house ablaze.

The fire was extinguished and the woman was assisted to hospital for treatment.

Whyte was subsequently arrested.

He is scheduled to appear before the St Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday, October 16.
