UPDATE: Boy killed in domestic dispute...It was blunt force injuries!

The child who was killed in a domestic dispute in Windsor Heights, St Catherine yesterday died from blunt force injuries, the police have confirmed.
He has been identified as nine-year-old Steve Johnson.
Investigators now believe that the child, his mother and older brother were attacked with a concrete object.
The police Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) told The Gleaner today that investigators are still trying to determine the object that was used in the attack.
Yesterday police sources reported that Johnson was chopped to death after an argument between his mother and her common-law spouse escalated.
The child’s mother and older brother also suffered blunt force injuries in the incident and remain hospitalised in serious but stable condition, CCU revealed today.
