Police destroy 1,000 pounds of ganja in St Elizabeth

The Area Three narcotics team destroyed about 1,000 pounds of ganja during an operation in St Elizabeth on Friday.
The police say the operation was conducted between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Little Park district.
They say the ganja was found hanging in bushes to dry. The drug was seized.
No arrest was made.
The seizure follows the destruction of another 700 pounds of ganja in Tryall district in the parish on March 30.
