'Gungu' gunned down in Old Harbour
The Panton Lane community near Old Harbour, St Catherine remains tense following the murder of a 21-year-old man on Saturday.
He has been identified as Tyrone Roberts, otherwise called 'Gungu', a construction worker of Marlie Acres in Old Harbour.
It is reported that about 3 p.m., Roberts was working on a house in Panton Lane when explosions were heard and he was seen running and then falling to the ground.
The police were summoned and a team responded and found Roberts on the ground suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
He was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Old Harbour police have since launched an investigation in the matter.
