Three dead, one injured in St Mary crash

The St Mary police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that claimed the lives of three men and left another seriously injured Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. and involved a white Mercedes-Benz C200, which was being driven by a man identified as a carpenter from Stewart Town.

According to a police report, the driver was negotiating a right turn when he lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the left side of the roadway.

The car ran into bushes and subsequently collided with a tree.

The vehicle sustained extensive damage.

Three male passengers — Kenroy Fung, Brandon Nelson, and Romario Grey — suffered serious injuries and were transported to the Port Maria Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The driver also sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital, where he is currently being treated and examined.

Investigations are ongoing.
