Four men shot, one fatally, in Portmore

Four men were shot, one fatally, in Portmore, St Catherine on Wednesday night.

The deceased, who is believed to be in his 20s, remains unidentified.

Information reaching The Gleaner is that a recording artiste is among other victims, two of whom are in their early 20s, all of Kingston communities.

The shooting occurred about 10:20 p.m. in the gated community of Palms of Portmore.

Reports are that the men were travelling in a car when they were approached by armed men who opened fire at them.

All four were shot.

The Gleaner gathered that over a dozen spent casings from a high-powered rifle were found at the scene.

The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the incident.
