Two men charged after 18-y-o stabbed, beaten in Point Hill

The police in Point Hill, St Catherine have charged two men for the stabbing and beating of an 18-year-old man in the community last week.

Charged are 20-year-old Raheem Mitchell, otherwise called ‘Brushie’, and Shamar Henry, otherwise called ‘Busta’, both of Pusey Hill in Point Hill.

They were charged on Tuesday with wounding with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm.

The police report that on March 4, the complainant was standing along a roadway in the area in the company of a friend when the two accused men approached and an argument developed.

During the dispute, the men allegedly attacked the complainant, pushing him to the ground.

Investigators say one of the accused men beat the complainant, while the other allegedly used a knife to stab him repeatedly.

The injured man was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he remains admitted for treatment.

The two men were later arrested and charged following a question-and-answer session with investigators.
