Shashalee Forbes finished eighth in the first semi-finals of the Women's 200m at the IAAF World Championships
Forbes crossed the line in the first semi-final in a time of 23.14 seconds giving her virtually no chance of qualifying for the final tomorrow afternoon.
The race was won by American Anglerne Annelus in 22.49 seconds in a photo finish with Mujinga Kambundji of Switzerland who came second in the same time.
Crystal Emmanuel of Canada finished third in 22.65.
There will be no Jamaicans in the final as Elaine Thompson did not start her semi-final.
