10-man Mount Pleasant hold Arnett
Arnett Gardens and 10-man Mount Pleasant battled to a 1-1 draw in their top-of-the-table Jamaica Premier League (JPL) match at Sabina Park on Sunday.
Alwayne Harvey put the St Ann-based former league leaders ahead in the third minute but Kimani Arbourine secured a point for the 'Junglists' with a 78th minute strike.
Mount Pleasant also had to play the last seven minutes plus injury time with ten players after Jowell Powell was red carded for an off the ball incident.
The result leaves Waterhouse as the sole leaders of the league on 20 points, after three teams came into the round tied on 17 points. Mount Pleasant and Arnett Gardens are now on 18 each after the draw.
Mount Pleasant started brightly and took the lead when Harvey curled a magnificent shot into the top corner of Eric Edwards' goal.
Arnett pressed their opponents in the second half but could not capitalise on the many half chances they created until the 78th minute when Arbourine latched on to a loose ball in the box and fired low past Akel Clarke from 12 yards.
