Jamaica's under-17 men at the 50th Carifta Games inside the Thomas A Robinson Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas are through to the 4x100-metre final after posting, by far, the quickest time in its qualification heat.

Running in heat one of the event, the Jamaicans, 41.73 seconds, finished well ahead of the British Virgin Islands, 42.44, and Grenada, 42.76.

The three are the quickest through to the final, with St Kitts and Nevis, a second Grenada team, Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao and Antigua and Barbuda also making it.
