Jamaica's Men's 4x100m relay team of Jevaughn Minzie, Julian Forte, Yohan Blake, and Oblique Seville comfortably qualified for the Olympic final in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday.
Jamaica clocked a season's best (SB) 37.82 seconds for victory in semi-final one, ahead of Great Britain (SB 38.02s), and Japan (SB 38.16s).
The shock of the event saw the USA team of Trayvon Bromell, Fred Kerley, Ronnie Baker, and Cravon Gillespie clock an SB of 38.10, but miss the final from finishing sixth. That heat was won by China (SB 37.92s), with Canada (SB 37.92) second, and Italy third in a national record (NR) 37.95s.
Ghana (NR 38.08s) and Germany (SB 38.06) also made the final as fastest losers.
