#PennRelays2023 | Hydel end Edwin’s 4x100m dominance
Hydel High ended Edwin Allen’s dominance in the 4x100 metres high school girls’ Championship of America relay at the Penn Relays as they won their first title in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America today.
The Ferry-based Hydel clocked 44.16 seconds for the win, as defending champions Edwin Allen botched the first exchange between Serena Cole and Theianna Lee Terrelonge and failed to finish.
Bullis from Maryland was second in 45.59 seconds, as St Jago took third in 45.98. Wolmer's Girls’ School had problems throughout the race and ended eighth in 52.32 seconds.
