Where to celebrate Mother's Day

This Sunday, May 8, is Mother's Day. Make Mom feel special by taking her to one of the many events that will be taking place across the island. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers.

The Kiwanis Club of Constant Spring will be hosting its Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday, May 8 at 4 Norbrook Crescent, off Norbrook Drive. Beginning at 11 a.m.

The Manchester Chapter of the Lay Magistrates Association presents a tribute to mothers at the Manchester Golf Club, Brumalia Road, on May 8. The fun starts at 1 p.m. There will be activities for adults and children, including a Dutch auction and attractive gate prizes. Proceeds are in aid of mentoring programmes.

Guiding Light Charity will be hosting a Mother's Day brunch at 60 Stanmore Terrace, Red Hills. Come enjoy a family fun-filled day with Jamaican cuisine and entertainment.

Mona Visitors' Lodge and Conference Centre presents Moments With Mom at Mona Visitors' Lodge, beginning at 11 a.m.

Terra Nova All Suite Hotel Mother's Day brunch. A sumptuous buffet lunch with over 80 menu items, from 10:30 to 4 p.m. Candlelight buffet dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Special gifts for mothers. Reservations recommended.

Oasis on the Oxford at 11 Oxford Road will be having a Mother's Day brunch from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Entertainment by Stokey Love of KoolFM prizes and surprises for mothers - makeovers and mothers fashion.

Pier One on the Waterfront in Montego Bay will be having a special Mother's Day three-course meal with complimentary champagne and a gift. Starts at 4 p.m.

Treat your mother to a special Sunday brunch at Rum Jungle, Coral Cliff in Montego Bay. Brunch runs from 10-3 p.m. and in house band will play from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. You can also order from the restaurant's menu during the band's performance.
