The Clarendon police said they are still to locate any of the survivors of a small aeroplane that crashed in the parish on Sunday.

It is believed that the occupants are drug traffickers.

The plane crashed into mangroves near the Jamalco Rocky Point Port around 5 am Sunday morning.

According to the police, when they arrived at the scene, they were unable to capture the fleeing men.

Four packages of compressed ganja were found near the scene of the crash.

Commanding Officer for Clarendon, Superintendent Radcliffe Lewis said the police have been involved in operations, where several locations have been searched since Sunday.

The police believe most of the marijuana on the areoplane was saved before it caught fire.
