The St. Andrew North Police are reporting two cases of burglary in that division between last night and this morning.

Superintendent of police, Anthony Morris, said robbers invaded a house on Sullivan Avenue Kingston between midnight and 5 a.m. this morning.

He said the homeowners discovered that they had been robbed after they awoke.

Superintendent Morris said the incident was a result of the carelessness of the residents.

He is advising residents to be more careful in securing their houses.

Superintendent Morris said around 11 p.m. last night, a woman chartered a taxi from Bridgeport in St. Catherine and took the driver to Norbrook in St. Andrew where two men were waiting.

The taxi driver was then robbed of cash and his vehicle.

Superintendent Morris said the car was later intercepted in the St. Andrew South Police Division.

The men and the women are now in police custody and have been identified by the taxi driver.
