The reason there has been such little progress on the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), regional integration and the free movement of citizens is that none of our island neighbours wants to be in any kind of union with Jamaica! West Indians are no fools - they know very well what awaits them should Jamaicans be given free movement throughout the region.

I think it is safe to conclude that the call of Councillor Desmond McKenzie of the Tivoli Gardens division for the heads of our national security forces to personally attend to answer questions of his and Bruce Golding's constituents is the wrongful and impertinent signing-off of a duty roster for these respected, respectable, honest and trusted public servants to attend duty at Tivoli Gardens.
